Mr. Y. Matsudaira - Owner of My Sonic Lab & Designer of "Air Tight" Cartridge

In 1959, he started his audio career as an engineering staff at Tokyo Sound Co., engaged in manufacture of the cartridges & tone-arms for professional broadcasting purpose on behalf of NHK (Japanese National Braodcast Co.), etc.

Thence, starting from Spex Co. in 1967, he brushed up his in-born talent for designing during the next 10 years, specialising in design & engineering of MM/MC cartridges & tone-arms in various co.'s.

In the late 70's, thanks to his outstanding capabilities, he was invited to an independent development team of the masterpieces of the top-brand phono cartridges (Koetsu, Miyabi, etc.).

In 1981, he joined Audio Craft Co. as a chief engineer and presented such exquisite works as the AC-3 stereo cartridge, the AC-3300/4400 tonearms, the AR-110/110L turntables, the TS-200 MC transformer, the PE-6000 Sig. phono amp.

To realise his long-cherished dream, eventually in 2003, he formed his own My Sonic Lab and introduced the EMINENT ideal high-output, low-impedance MC cartridge and the matching MC transformer Stage 202.
